Stayed at the Coach House for 3 nights. Its a lovely place and very well appointed and loads of space, it has everything you will need. We didn't get to go outside (terrible weather) but there is also a nice dining area with a sunny aspect. Newland is lovely village and the house is located opposite a grand church, we would also recommend the pub where the food (and beer) was very good, just 2 min walk. Overall much recommended

For a party of 6 “very particular” guests, the Coach House could not have been a more perfect place to stay. Immaculately clean, which was very reassuring in these strange times and there were plenty of products available to ensure we could keep it a safe environment. The accommodation is so very well equipped, comfortable, spacious and luxurious, whilst still managing to maintain a cosy atmosphere. Ali’s hospitality, including the home made cake was second to none! Set in a quite village, with a great pub virtually on the doorstep, there is plenty to see and do if you choose to venture into the surrounding areas. We were very lucky with the weather so we’re also able to take full advantage of the private courtyard to sit and relax in the sunshine. Would absolutely recommend a stay in this gorgeous property - 100%. Thanks Ali for making 6 “OAPs” very happy!

We had a lovely stay at the coach house. The location was tranquil and quiet with wonderful views. The Kitchen and Bathroom's were spot on. What made our stay so good was Alison's cooking , we are gluten and dairy free and like to eat healthy. With no effort on my part, Alison drew up a menu for Lunch and Dinner for our 3 night stay , it was delicious and you could taste the home made goodness. We will be back. It was simply perfect.

quirky, well stocked and comfy beds there was enough space for all and the kitchen was lovely. the new fandangled microwave took a bit of getting used to though!! Alison even provided us with enough dishwasher tabs for us to use during our stay - now that IS attention to minute detail. All the bedrooms had matching bedding and the beds were fabulously comfy. Alison provided us with a cot also for my grandson and a great high chair too. Thank you Alison for all you correspondence when I get a bit jittery about things. you answered all my incessant queries with calm diplomacy. What a star!!

We spent a weekend at The Coach House. The house was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well equipped. Newland is a lovely village with good walks from the doorstep and a nice old pub with great food. Highly recommended.

Thank you so much Alison for a wonderful stay in your gorgeous Coach House. Thank you also for the fabulous meal for Mom's birthday and the lovely home made cake which was waiting for us when we arrived. Beautiful, peaceful location. House was wonderful with every amenity catered for. We stayed as parents, grandparents and great-grandparents so there was plenty of space to accommodate us all along with little baby.

We stayed at the Coach House in late spring this year and what a fabulous weekend that was. The entire place was so comfortable and spacious, we(grandparents/parents/small child)were able to just relax. Everything was top notch but a special mention for kitchens and bathrooms 5*. The owners added plenty of personal extras to our stay which is not something you get everyday. Can't wait to return.

We had a wonderful weekend at the coach house with our son and his girlfriend. The downstairs bedroom being self contained was ideal for our needs. There was everything required in the kitchen for preparing meals. Big comfy sofas to curl up on and outdoor seating for afternoon tea, just perfect. The coffee machine (with pods provided) and the gorgeous home made cakes were delicious. We had a peaceful and relaxing time which is what we were looking for. Excellent location for visiting the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley.
